Naan Bread Pizza

Try these Naan Bread Pizzas for a delicious and simple dinner, in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Naan Bread large
  • 3 tbsp Pesto sauce
  • 3 tbsp Marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms sliced or chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes sliced in three's
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup sliced meatballs any other meat works too!
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil whole or chopped
  • balsamic glaze drizzle *optional

Method
 

  1. Pre Heat oven to 400ºF (205ºC)
  2. Line a baking sheet with Parchment paper (you do not need this, but it makes clean up a lot easier!)
  3. Lay naan bread on top of prepared baking sheet
  4. In a small bowl, combine pesto sauce and marinara sauce. Once combine, spread over top of naan bread to desired thickness.
  5. Next, layer all other ingredients (except for basil, if you prefer it fresh on top of your baked pizza) on top of your pizza, in whatever order you prefer. I usually save my cheese for one of the last toppings, so that it will melt on top of my other toppings and keep everything together a little bit better. If you prefer to do cheese as the first layer, GO FOR IT!
  6. Once your pizza is assembled, place in the pre-heated oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese is slightly browned.
  7. Serve with fresh basil(if you left it out before baking) and drizzle with a balsamic glaze.

Notes

This recipe is just an example of how you could prepare a naan bread pizza. Use whatever you have on hand and get creative! The pizza topping combinations are endless. Have fun with it!
